Lady jail visitor yields shabu in private part

PAGBILAO, Quezon -- A 41-year-old woman was arrested after suspected shabu was found inserted in her private part while visiting the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) District Jail in Barangay Talipan, this town, on Thursday, July 4.

Police identified the suspect as Charmaine Loreno, single, a resident of Purok Maligaya, Barangay 5, Lucena City, Quezon.

Loreno was apprehended at the Central Processing Desk after Jail Officer 2 Everly Regio Escobilla found the contraband while conducting body search on visitors.

The item was placed in a small rounded package wrapped with black electrical tape.

Seized from her was suspected shabu weighing 38.77 grams with a street value of P790,908.

The suspect faces drug-related charges.
