Homeowners' groups, public schools receive CCTV cameras from Valenzuela LGU


The Valenzuela city government on Friday, July 5, turned over closed-circuit television (CCTV) sets to 14 different Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and public schools to ensure the safety of Valenzuelanos.

The beneficiaries requested the CCTV sets during “People's Day sa Barangay.” 

The CCTV sets consist of eight CCTV cameras, one network video recorder, 4TB HDD storage, a 32” monitor, and a wall mount bracket, each set is worth P51,486.75.

The HOAs and public schools that received the CCTV sets are the following:

- Kabatuhan Compound 1, 2, & 3 HOAs

- Sitio Libis Kabatuhan Ibaba Neighborhood Association

- Calle Onse Gen. T. De Leon HOA

- Kapisanan ng Anak Dalita, Inc. - Marulas

- Northville 1 HOA - Bignay,

- Samahan ng Kapatiran ng Magkakapitbahay sa Bignay, Inc. - Bignay

- Malinta Dulong Tangke HOA, Enrile Ville - Phase 1 - 4

* Pinalagad Elementary School

* Marulas Central School

* Disiplina Village Bignay Elementary School

* Valenzuela Special Education Center

“Naiintindihan ko po ang importansya ng paglalagay ng CCTV sa inyong mga komunidad dahil malaking bagay po ito para sa peace and order, kaya patuloy rin po ang training natin sa inyong mga barangay, dahil kayo po ay nag-iinvest din sa CCTV kaya kami naman po ay tumutulong din sa pamamagitan ng training mula sa VCC3 ukol sa mga angkop na guidelines para sa peace and order (I understand the importance of installing CCTV in your communities because it is a big thing for peace and order, so we will continue training in your barangays because you are also investing in CCTV so we are is also helping through training from VCC3 on appropriate guidelines for peace and order),” Mayor Weslie “Wes” Gatchalian said during the turnover ceremony.

“Sana ay pangalagaan ninyo ang mga CCTV na ito, at sana ay manatili kayong vigilant sa paggamit ng mga ito (I hope you will take care of these CCTVs, and I hope you will remain vigilant in using them),” he added.

The CCTV camera sets are part of the local government’s major to ensure public safety which also includes installing 1,241 streetlights around the city.
