The number of electric vehicle (EV) brands to choose from is steadily growing with yet another joining the ranks of the Autohub Group. This new brand, Zeekr, is one of the brands of the Geely Group. Unlike their other brands that are already here, Zeekr exclusively offers EVs.

This relatively young brand was founded in 2021 and was conceived to compete with other exclusively EV brands like Tesla, Rivian, and Fisker. The name Zeekr, comes from a combination of the words, “Generation Z” and “Geek.” Zeekr produces its own battery technologies, battery management systems, electric motor technologies, and electric vehicle supply chain.

Present at the event were Autohub Group's president Willy Tee Ten and Zeekr's ASEAN Leader Alex Bao.
