Three players scored in twin figures for the Belgians with Manon Stragier unleashing 17 points built on 13 kills, three blocks and one ace.

Middle blocker Britt Fransen, meanwhile, took charge of Belgium’s defense by posting five blocks on top of six attacks and one ace to finish with 12 points, while Pauline Martin poured all 11 points on kills.

With the victory, the Belgians arranged a semis date with Puerto Rico in this knockout tournament staking a berth in the 2025 Volleyball Nations League.

Anna Haak and skipper Alexandra Lazic scored 15 and 14 points for Sweden, including combined 26 attacks, but it was not enough to destroy Belgium’s defense.

Overall, the Belgians had nine blocks.
