P506K illegal drugs seized in Imus marijuana hub raid

CAVITE â€“ A marijuana distribution hub in Barangay Pinagbuklod, Imus City, was dismantled by the authorities on Tuesday, July 30.

A high-value drug personality identified as alias Wenxer, a tattoo artist and video editor, was arrested during the joint operation of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Team II, PDEA Cavite Provincial Office, Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit IV-A, Cavite Police Provincial Office, Imus City Police Station (CCPS), and Southern Luzon-Philippine Air Force.

Confiscated during the operation were 114 assorted vape cartridges containing suspected marijuana oil worth P99,000 and more or less 20 grams of suspected dried marijuana flower tops worth P30,000.

Also seized from the suspect were 184 grams of sativa edible gummies worth P17,600.00 and 4 pieces of disposable syringes containing more or less 40 ml of suspected marijuana resin worth P60,000, bringing the total worth of all confiscated contraband to P506,600.

In a statement on Wednesday, July 31, PDEA Regional IV-A said alias Wenxer is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. He is now detained at the PDEA Regional Office IV-A Detention Facility in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
