President Marcos has received the copy of the proposed P6.352-trillion national budget for 2025.

Marcos received the copy of the proposed National Expenditure Program (NEP) for the coming year from Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman on Wednesday, July 31, at the Malacañan Palace.
The President has approved the proposed P6.352-trillion national budget on July 2.
Next year's national budget, according to Marcos, shall prioritize food security, social protection, healthcare, housing, disaster resilience, infrastructure, digital connectivity, and energization.
In his budget message, the Chief Executive said the budget was vital in fulfilling the government's duty to the Filipino people. He also urged the Congress anew to approve the proposed national budget.
