Korean national robbed in Pasay City; suspect nabbed

A 19-year-old man who robbed a female Korean national was arrested in a follow-up operation conducted by members of the Pasay City Police Substation 10 on Wednesday, July 31.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as  "Randy," and was arrested at around 7:50 a.m. along Cuyegkeng St., Barangay 4, Pasay City.

The police said the 27-year-old victim was walking along a gasoline station when Randy, onboard his motorcycle, suddenly snatched her phone worth P50,000.

A concerned citizen informed the authorities of Randy's whereabouts which led to his arrest.

The suspect yielded the victim's phone and is now detained at the police custodial facility.
