The Taguig Police confiscated suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on July 29.
The operation was conducted in Barangay Sta. Ana by the Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit that resulted in the arrest of a suspect known by his alias Jeorge.

During the operation, the police seized four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 16.6 grams and valued at P112,880. They also confiscated four disposable vapes filed with suspected cannabis oil estimated to be worth P28,000.
The police also recovered a genuine P500 bill used as buy-bust money and five pieces of boodle money totaling P1,000.
The drugs will be turned over to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
The police will file a complaint against the suspect for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) before the Taguig City Prosecutor's Office.
