BDO to deactivate old banking app on Aug. 19

Sy family-led BDO Unibank has advised its customers about the upcoming deactivation of the old BDO Digital Banking app.

In an advisory on Wednesday, July 31, the country’s largest bank by assets said its customers must transition to the new BDO Online banking app before Aug. 19, 2024.

Customers must download the new app to continue accessing their banking services. Their existing usernames and passwords will remain valid, BDO said.

For assistance with logging in, customers can use the "Need help logging in?" option to retrieve usernames or reset passwords.

To get the new BDO Online app, customers should search for "BDO Online" on the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
