12 jobseekers hired on-the-spot at Bulacan job fair

A total of 12  Bulakenyos were hired on-the-spot during the Job Fair for Local Employment by the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Public Employment Services Office on Tuesday, July 30, at WalterMart Malolos, Bulacan.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando thanked the 19 participating local companies for giving work opportunities to Bulakenyos.

“Sa gitna ng mga hamon at pagbabago, patuloy tayong magtulungan upang mapalakas ang kalagayan ng ating mga manggagawa,” (In the midst of all the challenges and changes, let's continue to work together  to provide jobs to our workers)," Fernando said.

He assured that the provincial government will continue to hold monthly job fairs with the help of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Adrian Eusebio, a fresh graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering degree, was hired on-the-spot by Big Ben  construction company located in the town of Pulilan.

“Inaanyayahan ko po kayo na tangkilikin ang mga ganitong programa dahil naniniwala po ako na makatutulong ito na mag-improve ang mga kagaya ko na isang [fresh] graduate and now, magkaka-trabaho na ’ko,” (I invite you to participate in these programs because I believe they will help people like me to improve. I was a (fresh) graduate and now I have job)," Eusebio said.

The job fair had a One-Stop Shop that offered the services of government agencies such as the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and Social Security System (SSS).
