Over P223,000 worth of shabu seized in Bulacan buy-bust ops

Members of the Bulacan Police have confiscated a total of P223,600 worth of illegal drugs from nine drug peddlers in a series of buy-bust operations conducted on Tuesday, July, 30.

According to the reports submitted to PCol. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) together with San Ildefonso Police conducted an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Sapang Putol, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

A total of five sachets of shabu worth P136,000 were seized from the suspects identified as "Tisay" and "Ging."

Meanwhile, seven more drug peddlers were arrested in different buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Rafael, Bulakan, and Pulilan.

Twenty-two sachets of shabu and five sachets of marijuana worth P87,600 were recovered from the suspects.

The suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination.

Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
