New school supplies, shoes ready for Pasigueño learners - Mayor Vico

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said on Tuesday, July 30, that local officials will distribute school supplies, uniforms, and shoes to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 as some classes are scheduled to begin on August 1 to 5.

He said that the schedule for school supply distribution will be announced for each school.

The school supplies consist of a bag, pencil, ballpen, notebook, writing pad, pencil case, ruler, and umbrella.

Sotto also announced that the taking of measurements for the school and PE uniforms will resume after the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Office (SDO) suggested that measurements be taken during regular class schedules to ensure that all students and teachers are present.

In addition, the mayor said that this year, they will distribute leather and rubber shoes as well, making the free school set complete for the students.

“May leather shoes at rubber shoes din tayo ngayong taon. Nakita ko na ang mga sample nito at natuwa ako sa quality (We will also distribute leather and rubber shoes this year. I've seen the samples, and I was happy with the quality),” Sotto said.

However, he noted that the delivery schedules for the school supplies may vary.
