Man electrocuted to death in Cagayan

BAGGAO, Cagayan – A 25-year-old man died and his companions were injured after they were electrocuted in Barangay Ibulo here on Sunday, July 28.

Laborer dies after electrocution in Quezon

The fatality was identified as Maximo Ricarte Jr.

Police said Maximo and his companions – Virgilio Cabaruan, 43; Edison Caluttung, 54; Brando Ramos, 39, and Maximo Ricarte Sr., 58 – were transferring a solar light post when the pole accidentally touched as live wire.

The victims were thrown away and sustained light burns. 

Maximo Jr. was unconscious and later on declared dead.
