During her speech, Loyola emphasized the community's collective efforts in fostering peace.
“Ang intelligence network po namin, at lahat ng mga kapitan namin, SK namin, si Vice Mayor at mga konsehal, masisipag po lahat 'yan… Sa mapayapang lungsod, patuloy na magkakaroon ng masagana at maayos na kaunlaran (Our intelligence network, along with all our barangay captains, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, the Vice Mayor, and councilors, they are all diligent… In a peaceful city, there will continuously be prosperous and orderly development),“ the mayor said.
Carmona Component City Police Station (CCPS) Chief Lt. Col. Jefferson P. Ison, meanwhile, highlighted the vital role of local residents in preserving peace and order.
“Ang kapayapaan at seguridad ay hindi lamang responsibilidad ng pulisya kundi ng bawat mamamayan (Peace and security are not only the responsibility of the police but of every citizen). Let us help and protect one another,” Ison said.
Apart from Carmona, Magallanes is the only other LGU with a SIPS status in Cavite. The Philippine Army and Cavite PPO anticipate that more cities and municipalities will achieve this status in the coming months.
