According to the city’s public information office, the new engineering programs will expand the university's academic offerings to include Bachelor of Science (BS) programs in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.

Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan encouraged new students to take advantage of the free tuition for the new engineering programs.

The dream of having a child become an engineer is now within reach for the youth of Caloocan. And, of course, like other courses at the University of Caloocan City (UCC), studying here is free to help our children achieve their dreams in life more easily),” he said.

Malapitan expressed his gratitude to those who supported the project, acknowledging their significant contributions to the education of Batang Kankaloo.

“With this achievement, I would like to thank everyone who contributed in realizing this dream of our university. With this achievement, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to realizing this dream for our university. I know that all the time, effort, and funds we have invested will be more than worth it when we see the youth of Caloocan succeed in the future),” he said.

The mayor also assured the public that the quality of education in the city will continue to improve, not only at UCC but also in all schools in the city.

Under our leadership, we will continue to provide more opportunities for the youth. We will also maintain high standards and quality education, not only at UCC but across all schools in our city),” Malapitan said.
