Members of the Bulacan Police arrested 10 illegal drug suspects in several anti-illegal drug operations conducted from July 28 to 29.
In reports submitted to PCol. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, a 39-year-old male vendor was arrested by the operatives along NIA Road, Brgy. Bagong Nayon, Baliwag City on Monday, July 29.
The suspect faces multiple violations which includes violation of Article 151, RPC (Resistance and Disobedience), R.A. 10054 (Motorcycle Helmet Act), R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunitions), and Section 11 of R.A. 9165 (Illegal Possession of Dangerous Drugs).
According to the report from the Baliwag City police, they spotted the suspect riding a black Honda TMX motorcycle without a plate number and helmet.
The suspect attempted to flee after being directed to stop and a brief chase ensued between the cops and the rider which led to his arrest.
Confiscated from him are a sachet of shabu and a caliber .38 revolver without a serial number loaded with four pieces of live ammo.
Meanwhile, nine drug suspects were arrested in anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Guiguinto, Bocaue, Plaridel, and Bustos police.
Confiscated from the arrested suspects were 16 plastic sachets of shabu, 11 compressed blocks of dried leaves and fruiting tops wrapped with transparent plastic believed to be marijuana, and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects are now facing criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165, violation of Article 151, RPC, R.A. 10054, and R.A. 10591.
