Tangere: Rep. Tulfo still frontrunner in the 2025 senatorial survey, 15 other personalities in top 12

ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo maintained his lead in the Tangere senatorial survey conducted from July 10 to 13, securing the highest voter preference among potential candidates for the May 2025 elections.

The updated survey results revealed that Tulfo maintained a commanding lead with 56.25 percent of the voter preference.

Former president Rodrigo Duterte remained a strong contender, with a voter preference of 46.33 percent, securing the 2nd spot.

In the 3rd and 4th positions were former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III (44.54 percent) and Senator Pia Cayetano (43.13 percent), respectively.

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go saw a significant decline in his voter preference, from 47.08 percent to 42.5 percent, dropping from 3rd to 5th place.

Broadcaster Ben Tulfo, brother of Rep. Tulfo, remained steady at 6th place with a 40.63 percent voter preference.

Senator Imee Marcos followed in 7th place with 39.67 percent voter preference, Senator Lito Lapid in 8th place with 36.79 percent, former Senator Manny Pacquiao in 9th with 35.71 percent, former Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso in 10th with 35 percent, and former Senator Ping Lacson in 11th with 33.67 percent.

Sharing the 12th spot were Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. (31.88 percent), Senator Francis Tolentino (31.67 percent), social media personality Dr. Willie Ong (31.25 percent), Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (29.3 percent), and former Senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV (29 percent).

The survey, administered via a mobile-based application to 2,400 participants, utilized a stratified random sampling method across the Philippines. 

The results have a margin of error of +/-1.96 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
