P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon gave this piece of advice to Filipinos, whose perennial problem of poverty could be traced to the country’s swollen population.
"Malamig ngayon pero huwag gawing dahilan para bumuo nanaman ng bata, lalo na kung walang permanenteng trabaho ang asawa," Guanzon said in a Facebook post on Monday, July 28.

"Jusmiyo marimar! kaya lubog ang Pilipinas e di na kayang buhayin, parang hamster anak ng anak 😵💫," added the outspoken former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner.

Based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations (UN) data, the current population of the Philippines as of Sunday, July 28 is 119,227,743.
