The Quezon City local government and the University of the Philippines (UP) received short-term end-of-trip (EOT) cycling facilities from the Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Monday, July 29, the city government announced.
The project is part of the DOTr program that aims to promote bike commuting as a means of sustainable transportation.

According to the city’s public information office, the city government has received 15 sets of short-term EOT cycling facilities that have been set up in various institutions in the city.
It added that each set includes bicycle racks, a bicycle shed, and a bicycle repair station.
The local government said that cycling commuters, students, and cycling enthusiasts at the UP Campus can access the 21 sets of short-term end-of-trip cycling facilities.
