Police seize P3.4 million shabu in Taguig

Police operatives arrested four high value individuals (HVIs) and confiscated P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu in Taguig on July 28.

The buy-bust operation was conducted by the Southern Police District’s Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay Calzada-Tipas in Taguig.

The arrested suspects were identified as alias Ryan, 33; alias Analiza, 37; alias Marilog, 33; and alias Jeffrey, 39.

They were nabbed for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

According to the SPD, police officers seized 500 grams of suspected shabu valued at P3.4 million, and P1,000 marked money along with 139 pieces of P1,000 boodle money used in the buy-bust operation.

The seized evidence will undergo examination by the SPD Forensic Unit. The police will file criminal complaints against the four suspects with the Taguig City Prosecutor's Office.
