Motorcycle stolen in Rizal found in Taguig


A motorcycle that was stolen in Cainta, Rizal was found by the police in Taguig on July 26. 

The police stated that the complainant, alias Girlie, 45, said the motorcycle was stolen on July 22 in Sitio Victoria Extension in Barangay San Juan, Cainta. A suspect identified as alias Jerome, 17, allegedly pawned the stolen motorcycle to alias Jay Ar  for P7,000.

A follow-up operation conducted by the Southern Police District Anti-Carnapping Unit (DACU) on July 26 led to the recovery of a stolen motorcycle 

At about 2 p.m. on July 26, DACU personnel found the Yamaha Mio Gear 125 motorcycle with plate number 712 QTE parked in Tipas, Taguig, near the residence of Jerome. The motorcycle was identified by its chassis number and engine number. 

The police arrested suspects alias Rogie and alias Jim. Two other suspects, alias Jay Ar and alias Jerome remain at large. 

The recovered motorcycle was turned over to the Cainta Police Station.
