SMX Convention Center Clark served as the official venue partner for MICECON 2024, reinforcing its status as a key player in the country's burgeoning MICE sector. The event featured insightful sessions, networking opportunities, and exhibitions that showcased the latest trends and innovations in the MICE industry.

The MICE industry in the Philippines is on a path to recovery and growth, driven by the country's strategic location, rich cultural heritage, and robust government support. Major cities like Manila, Cebu, and Davao have become popular destinations for international conferences and exhibitions. The construction of new convention centers and hotels, along with the expansion of existing ones, underscores the industry's potential. High-profile events, such as the ASEAN Summit and various international trade fairs, have highlighted the Philippines as a capable host for large-scale events.

And that is why our president has directed collaborations and convergences among our fellow government agencies to vastly improve infrastructure and connectivity," Secretary Frasco stated.
