OVP warns vs unverified Google form link for relief ops

The Office of the Vice President has warned the public against a certain Google form link that is being spread online supposedly for its relief operations.

OVP on Friday, July 25, said such Google form link is not official and is not owned by the office.

OVP warned the public against filling out such form as doing so may compromise their personal information.“Makipag-transaksyon lamang sa mga lehitimong opisina at empleyado ng OVP, o abangan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo galing mismo sa Tanggapan (Only transact with legitimate offices and employees of OVP or wait for official announcement from the OVP),” it said.

On July 24, OVP had prepared several relief packs for those who will be affected by typhoon Carina.

According to OVP, there are already relief items for 6,700 families that were prepared by its Disaster Operations Center (DOC).

The assistance would be distributed by government responders in areas affected by the latest weather disturbance particularly in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Region 4-A.
