Mayor Emi lauds Pasay DRRMO for successful rescue operations during Typhoon Carina, Habagat onslaught

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano lauded members of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) and other local agencies for immediately responding to those who were trapped in the city during the flood brought about by the enhanced Habagat and Typhoon Carina.

The mayor said the rescued individuals were immediately brought by the team at evacuation centers where they were immediately given hot meals and other necessities.

"Walang imposible at walang matinding kalamidad kung tayo ay nagtutulungan at may malasakit sa bawat isa. Taos puso ang aking pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga Pasayeño na hindi nagdamot at hindi nag-alinlangan na magbayanihan sa panahon ng krisis at sakuna (Nothing is impossible and any calamity can be overcomed if we will all work together and give compassion and empathy to each other. I'm expressing my heartfelt gratitude to all Pasayeños who did not become greedy and did not gave a second thought to practice bayanihan during this time of crisis and calamity)," the mayor stressed.
