A 30-year-old man wanted for frustrated murder was nabbed by members of the Las Piñas City Police, the Southern Police District (SPD) said.
Col. Sandro Tafalla, Las Pin̈as City Police chief, said the suspect identified as "Raymund" was arrested at around 7:45 a.m. in Moonwalk Village, Barangay Talon Singko, Las Pin̈as.
Tafalla said members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section, Station Intelligence Section, and Talon Sub-station Police conducted a joint operation for the arrest of Raymund who was tagged as Top 5 most wanted person under the regional level.
He said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Josefina Eco Siscar of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 201 on April 19, 2024 for service of sentence.
The suspect is now detained at the police custodial facility.
