Las Piñas, Parañaque LGU’s suspend classes, gov’t work amid rains, flood

The local governments of Las Piñas and Parañaque announced the suspension of classes in all levels in both its public and private schools, including works in their respective government offices on Thursday, July 25, amid heavy rains and flood caused by the enhanced Habagat.

Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar advised residents to take necessary precaution and be on alert on the updates on the situation and weather updates.

Meanwhile, Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez also ordered the suspension of classes and government works in the city as he assured residents that frontline government offices will continue to conduct monitoring on the situation on the ground.
