The Taguig City government suspended classes in all levels in public and private schools in the city for July 25, Thursday, due to the severe weather.
“With Metro Manila placed under state of calamity due to the severe weather conditions brought by Typhoon Carina and the heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the City Of Taguig is suspending classes in all levels (public and private) on Thursday, July 25, 2024,” the Taguig City government announced on July 24.

It said the decision was made “to ensure the safety of our students, teachers, and staff, and allow communities to recover from the impact of massive flooding in Metro Manila.”
“We urge everyone to take necessary precautions and stay safe during this period,” it added.
