BSP suspends dollar-peso trading Wednesday

In light of Malacañang’s decision to suspend work in government offices on Wednesday, July 24, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has suspended dollar/peso trading and monetary operations.

During this period, certain BSP services will remain operational: 

  • Bulk cash deposits, including coins and unfit/CSA unmatched fit banknotes, will be accepted from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Bulk cash withdrawals will be processed from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Security Plant Complex.
  • Philippine Payment and Settlement System (PhilPaSS) Plus will be operational from 9:00 am to 5:45 pm.
