223 families rescued in Navotas City amid heavy rains, flooding
A total of 134 families were evacuated by the Navotas city government on Wednesday, July 24, due to flooding caused by non-stop rains in Metro Manila.
According to the local government, as of 3:36 p.m., a total of 1,054 individuals are currently staying in the evacuation centers.
The following are the evacuation centers in the city:
- Tanza National High School
- Wawa Elementary School
- Brgy. Hall of Tangos South
- San Roque National High School
- Daanghari Elementary School
- Brgy. Hall of San Jose
- Bagumbayan Elementary School:
- Brgy. Hall Navotas East
- Brgy. Hall of BBN
- Filemon T. Lizan Senior High School
- Brgy Hall of Bangkulasi
- Brgy. Hall of NBBN
The local government encouraged the residents staying in low-lying areas to evacuate.
