CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 continues to conduct disaster response operations in Central Luzon in the aftermath of the southwest monsoon or “habagat” enhanced by super typhoon “Carina.”

Combined reports from the PRO-3 and the Office of the Civil Defense-3 said two individuals, including a minor, were killed in a landslide in Angeles City, Pampanga and two persons were reported missing in Bataan.
A total of 528 families composed of 1,509 individuals are temporarily sheltered in 34 evacuation centers, particularly in Bataan, Bulacan, and Olongapo City.
Seventy-one barangays in Bulacan and 68 in Pampanga were flooded and seven roads in Bulacan were impassable to vehicles.
Thirty-three individuals in Bataan and one in Angeles City were rescued by authorities.
PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. directed all commanders to implement previous measures that were observed, including all guidelines, under the PNP Critical Incident Management Operational Procedures (CIMOP).
The Regional Mobile Force Battalion-3 was instructed to conduct forward deployment to readily respond to any eventuality brought by the super typhoon.
A total of 474 personnel were deployed for response operations, including those deployed in evacuation centers.
There are 578 on standby and on call for search, rescue, and retrieval operations with 466 comprising the Reactionary Standby Support Force.
