A welder was arrested by the police for allegedly selling suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on July 22.
Southern Police District (SPD) chief Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete identified the suspect as alias Sunny, 41.
He was arrested during an operation at about 10 p.m. in Napindan Site, Barangay West Rembo, Taguig.

The Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit operatives conducted the buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 22.5 grams valued at P153,000, P500 genuine bill and P7,000 boodle money used as buy-bust money.
The suspect will face a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
