Walang pasok: Muntinlupa LGU suspends classes for July 24

Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon announced that classes in all levels in public and private schools are suspended for Wednesday, July 24, due to expected heavy rains.

“Suspended ang klase sa lahat ng antas, public at private schools bukas, July 24 (Classes in all levels, public and private schools, are suspended tomorrow, July 24),” Biazon announced on July 23.

He said the suspension of classes is based on the forecasts of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the local weather station that heavy rains are expected the whole day on July 24 due to Habagat or southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoon Carina.

Biazon also said the distribution of free school supplies in public schools scheduled on July 24 is postponed.
