Pasig LGU suspends gov't work due to Typhoon Carina


The Pasig City local government announced on Tuesday afternoon, July 23, the suspension of work at the City Hall due to heavy rains brought about by the southwest monsoon (Habagat) and Typhoon Carina.

It stated that work in City Hall offices was suspended at 2:00 p.m.

However, it said that all offices that provide emergency response and essential operations will remain open to provide services to residents.

The local government said that the suspension is in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 57, s. 2024, of the Office of the President, which ordered the suspension of work in government offices and classes in the National Capital Region (NCR) due to continuous rainfall.
