Manila DRRMO, together with other agencies, implemented a forced evacuation to keep the residents safe from rising water level caused by continuous heavy rains and strong wind.

As of 6:05 p.m., Manila DRRMO said evacuees from Baseco continued to arrive at the Baseco Evacuation Center.

Meanwhile, some residents of Isla Puting Bato in Tondo were also moved to the Delpan Evacuation Center, along with  25 families who lost their houses on Monday, July 22.

According to Manila LGU spokesperson Princess Abante, more than 84 families were already evacuated to the Delpan Evacuation Center as of Tuesday afternoon.

The Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW) provided all evacuees with hot meals, hygiene kits, and food boxes.

The Manila DRRMO said it will continuously monitor the situation and conduct more  evacuations when needed.
