CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police reported the arrest of 71 wanted individuals in the Cordillera region from July 14 to 20.
The Police Regional Office-Cordillera said the Baguio City Police Office nabbed 26 wanted personalities, followed by Benguet Police Provincial Office with 14, Kalinga PPO with 12, Mountain Province PPO with seven, Abra PPO with six, and Apayao PPO and Ifugao PPO with three each.
Nineteen were classified as most wanted persons – 11 on the provincial, seven on the municipal, and one on the regional levels.
Fifty-six municipalities in the region and five police stations in Baguio City reported zero crime incidents.
Twenty-one towns were in Abra, 10 in Mountain Province, eight in Ifugao, seven in Apayao, seven in Benguet, and three in Kalinga.
Police Stations 1, 3, 7, 9, and 10 in Baguio City were crime-free.
