Guanzon's advice to survey-leading Tulfos: 'Wag gumaya sa iba dyan'

P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon has offered a piece of unsolicited advice to the super popular Tulfo brothers, two of whom are lording it over the senatorial surveys.

"To the Tulfo brothers: [huwag] na kayong gumaya sa iba dyan (Don't emulate the others out there)," Guanzon said in an X post over the weekend.

"One Tulfo senator is enough," she said, referring to incumbent Senator Raffy Tulfo, who was elected in 2022.

Just days earlier, it was reported that ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo and his brother, Ben Tulfo, placed no.1 and 2, respectively, in OCTA Research's latest senatorial survey carried out from June 26 to July 1, 2024.

The results showed that Erwin received a voter preference of 58 percent, while Ben garnered 45 percent.

At any rate, Erwin has said that he and his brother has no plans of running for senator in the May 2025 mid-term elections.

Guanzon didn't specify the politician or politicians who she discouraged the Tulfo brood from emulating.

The Tulfo brothers gained their fame from their career as broadcast journalists.
