Foreigner nabbed with P3.4M worth of shabu in Pampanga buy-bust

Government anti-narcotics authorities seized on Sunday, July 21, some P3.4 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a Chinese national during a buy-bust operation in Angeles City, Pampanga.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga Office said that Long Chen, 24, of Savannah Green Plains in Barangay Cuayan was arrested after extensive surveillance and information gathered from the tipsters.
Aside from the 500 grams of shabu placed in a resealable plastic bag, the operatives also confiscated one smartphone and a BMW sedan vehicle.
According to the PDEA, Chen had been in the Philippines for nearly four years and was renting a unit in Angeles City.
The operation was conducted by the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and Angeles City Police Office, Station 5 operatives.
Chen faces charges for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
