Caloocan City Police receive 16 new motorcycles from LGU

The Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) and the Public Safety and Traffic Management Department (PSTMD) received 16 brand new motorcycles from the local government on Monday, July 22, at the Caloocan City Hall - South.

The CCPS and PSTMD received eight motorcycles each, three of which are of the 400 cubic centimeter (cc) displacement variants, while the other five are 125cc models.

The motorcycles will help the authorities to ensure safety and orderliness in the city. 

“Binabati ko po ang CCPS at ang PSTMD dahil sa mga dagdag na motorsiklong magagamit ninyo sa inyong mga araw-araw na trabaho. Kasama ng mga Batang Kankaloo, umaasa po ako na makakatulong ang mga ito upang mas mahusay at mas mabilis ang pagtugon ng ating mga operatiba sa mga hindi inaasahang pangyayari (I congratulate the CCPS and the PSTMD for the additional motorcycles you can use in your daily jobs. Together with the Batang Kankaloo, I hope that they will help our operatives respond better and faster to unexpected events)," Mayor Dale “Along Malapitan said.

“Magpapatuloy po ang pagkilos ng pamahalaang lungsod upang dagdagan pa ang mga makabagong kagamitan at sasakyan ng ating mga ahensya para pangalagaan ang kapakanan ng ating mga nasasakupan (The action of the city government will continue to increase the modern equipment and vehicles of our agencies to protect the welfare of our constituents),” he added.
