Pampanga 2nd district Representative and former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo gushed over President Marcos' third State of the Nation Address (SONA), which she called a "great speech".

In a chance interview after Marcos' SONA, Arroyo cited the hour-and-a-half speech for being comprehensive as far as the important issues were concerned.

"Well it's a great speech. He addressed all of the...of the people that they want to hear," she said. "Everything [was] discussed."

Asked if she was satisfied with the SONA, Arroyo smiled and said, "Yes, yes, of course. More than satisfied."

Commenting on Marcos' report on the Philippine economy, the Cabalen said, "It looks like he is on track."

Arroyo, an economist, served in Malacañang from 2001 to 2010. She was also a former House Speaker.
