ILOILO CITY – The Police Regional Office-6 is all set for security deployment for the State-of-the-Nation Address of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday, July 22.
PRO-6 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jacky Wanky said they are implementing maximum deployment of forces in Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental provinces as well as the highly urbanized cities of Iloilo and Bacolod.

“Closely supervise our deployments based on the plan and the current assessment of your respective areas of responsibility,” Wanky said.
Security measures include mobile and foot patrols, checkpoints in identified strategic areas, and civil disturbance management platoons on standby in case protesters become violent.
“Ensure that our personnel are visible and felt by the people so that the general public will feel safe and secure,” added Wanky.
Police Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, PRO-6 chief information officer, said police units are closely coordinating and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies and local government units.
