P3.4-M shabu seized in Angeles City buy-bust

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – A 24-year-old Chinese national was arrested and 500 grams of suspected shabu valued at P3.4 million was seized in a buy-bust operation before dawn on Sunday, July 21, in Barangay Cuayan here.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga identified the suspect as Long Chen.

Recovered from Chen were a brown paper bag containing resealable plastic with containing shabu, smartphone, and a car.

The PDEA said Chen had been in the Philippines for nearly four years and was renting a house here.

Chen faces drug-related cases.
