CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police destroyed marijuana valued at P16.9 million in eradication operations in Kalinga and Benguet from July 19 to 20.
Nine plantations with a total of 76,350 fully-grown marijuana plants valued at P16.7 million were discovered in Tinglayan, Kalinga.
A plantation with 1,200 FGMJP worth P240,000 was located in Barangay Kayapa, Bakun, Benguet.
Police burned them onsite.
Sufficient samples submitted to the Police Regional Office-Cordillera Regional Forensic Unit for testing.
