The city government of Parañaque conducted “Binyagang Bayan” on Saturday, July 20, at the Our Lady of the Airways Parish in Pasay City.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said around 140 children were baptized during the sixth “Binyagang Bayan” offered by the city government through Local Civil Registry and the Special Services Office.
Olivarez said the city government offers “Binyagang Bayan” to help residents who wanted their children to receive baptism sacrament but cannot afford to do so.
He said the city government also distributed food packs, souvenirs and financial assistance as gifts to the children who were baptized.
