P4.6-M shabu, marijuana seized

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized marijuana worth P3.6 million in a buy-bust operation here on Saturday, July 20.

The 48-year-old lady suspect, a high-value target, yielded 30 kilos of dried marijuana leaves, two mobile phones, and buy-bust money.

A two-month surveillance was conducted on the suspect prior to her arrest.

Documentation and inventory of evidence were held in the place of arrest in the presence of a representative from the National Prosecution Service and a barangay official.

Meanwhile, suspected shabu and marijuana worth more than P1 million were confiscated in buy-bust operations in Bulacan and Zambales on July 17 and 19.

Seven suspected drug pushers were arrested – Ganggang, 31; Ando, 51; Dolor, 20; Joel, 55; Henry, 44; Monique, 27, and JR, male, 21.

Suspects face drug-related cases.
