Man hit, killed by pickup truck in Quezon

ATIMONAN, Quezon – A truck helper was bumped and killed by a pickup truck while crossing the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Balubad, this town, on Friday evening, July 19.

Police identified the victim as John Lloyd from San Simon, Pampanga.

The victim was hit by a Nissan Navarra pickup with conduction sticker number F6L698 driven by Dennis Crisostomo, 41, sales driver, of Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Talaan, Sariaya, Quezon.

Meneses sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Doña Marta Memorial District Hospital here where he was declared dead.

Police said the victim’s family and Crisostomo are open for an amicable settlement.
