CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 is deploying 412 civil disturbance management personnel to secure the third State-of-the-Nation Address of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday, July 22, at the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.

Eight-hundred seventy-five Reactionary Standby Support personnel from PRO-3 was organized and placed on standby for the annual address to the nation.
PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said they have intensified anti-criminality and focused police operations, including checkpoints and chokepoints, and border control for the SONA.
“I have ordered the intensified conduct of checkpoint operations, particularly along major thoroughfares, to ensure the maintenance of peace and order during the event,” Hidalgo said.
Hidalgo reminded policemen to observe maximum tolerance on protesters.
“Our personnel are reminded to observe maximum tolerance and ensure they respect the human rights of protesters as they are again expected to hold rallies when the President delivers his third SONA,” Hidalgo said.
The Philippine National Police is under full alert status effective 12:01 a.m. on July 20 and will remain in effect pending the outcome of Monday’s national event.
