PH bodybuilders shine in Las Vegas

Under the tutelage of Koronadal's Dwan Abantao, who is behind the Coach D personal training program, the Philippines had three champions along with a runner-up and a fourth place finisher.

Five Filipino bodybuilders turned heads and made great strides in their respective events in the 24th Annual Fitness Universe Weekend at Las Vegas, Nevada recently.

Under the tutelage of Koronadal’s Dwan Abantao, who is behind the Coach D personal training program, the Philippines had three champions along with a runner-up and a fourth place finisher.

Rey Canlas ruled the Physique Masters division, while Griffin See settled for second place. Elyssa Sy Ang was hailed as grand winner in the Bikini Open and Nori See the champion in Figure Masters category.

On the other hand, Ernest Hilvano came up short for podium as he took fourth place in the men’s Muscle Mania Open.

The annual bodybuilding competition is joined by top natural fitness athletes, bodybuilders, and models from across the globe.
