Gatchalian says Alice Guo should expose POGO kingpins

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian said Guo Hua Ping, or Alice Guo, can reduce her liability if she cooperates with authorities and reveal crucial information on the identities of the key players of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) companies involved in illegal activities.

“I urge Alice Guo to come forward and cooperate with authorities and expose the main players of illegal and criminal offshore gaming operations,” Gatchalian said of the Bamban, Tarlac mayor.

“To reduce her culpability, she can reveal everything she knows about the operations of both the Bamban POGO and the Porac POGO, as the two are interconnected,” he said.

Guo was among those charged with non-bailable qualified human trafficking by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) following the raid conducted by authorities at the Bamban POGO hub.

Additionally, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) earlier confirmed that Alice Guo and a Chinese national named Guo Hua Ping’s fingerprints matched, prompting the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) to file a quo warranto case against her.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is also planning to filing an election offense against her.

Gatchalian said given her links to the Bamban POGO hub and the Porac POGO hub, Guo can disclose the key individuals and operations fueling criminal activities.

“Guo can play a crucial role in exposing the truth and ensuring that those involved are held accountable,” said Gatchalian.
