Bigo Live showcases Filipino talents via Bigo Music Fest

Aside from providing a safe online community, Bigo Live also aims to discover the talents of Filipinos.

During the first Bigo Music Fest at 12 Monkeys Music Hall and Pub in Ortigas on June 28, the top 14 finalists, ranked based on the points they collected during their live streams, were invited to perform in front of a live audience.

Bigo Voice Music Fest is the platform’s inaugural online and offline music event, connecting artists and music lovers across the Philippines. Through live, real-time experiences, the joy of music is brought closer to the local and global community.

According to Marie Miller, Director of Public Relations at Bigo, the event's main goal is to celebrate Pinoy talents globally.

"The main point of the Bigo Music Fest is to celebrate the pinoy talents within the global scene, and because Bigo Live is also an online platform, whatever we broadcast and live stream is also available on the other Filipino communities across the country," Marie said.

Bigo Voice Music Fest demonstrated the power of live music to forge connections within the local Filipino community. Fans were treated to a unique ‘up-close and personal’ experience where music and community came to life.

“The power of live performances lies in its ability to foster real-time connections between performers and audiences. We were thrilled to witness Bigo Voice performers amplify their shared passions and electrifying talents on stage. Their infectious energy helped create a space where people from all walks of life can unite, celebrate creativity, and forge lasting connections. This is truly what we envisioned for the Bigo Live platform – a safe space for artistic expression and forging unforgettable bonds,” said Ian Goh, Director, Bigo Live Philippines.

The three talented rising stars Nikki Enriquez (Bigo id: NikkiEnriquez), Ronnel Abinal (Bigo id: White_Official28), and Lailanie Balmediano (Bigo id: primelovekisses) won 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place, respectively, and received prizes including trophies and up to 200,000 Bigo Beans (the virtual currency on Bigo Live).

During the event, audience members voted IKANG (Bigo id: ikangmo) as the “Most Impactful Icon of the Night.”

Bigo Live empowers musicians, artists, gamers, and content creators to showcase their talents. The dynamic community allows people to share, discover, and engage with content that interests them.
