The 36-year-old all-around player is now taking a step back from playing to join the Angels’ coaching staff where her sisters, twin Camille and Cienne Cruz have managed and played for.

Cruz last saw action for the disbanded F2 Logistics Cargo Movers early in 2023 and wound up with limited minutes after a meaningful hiatus to focus on motherhood.

Despite that, Cruz has proven herself time and again with her leadership and valuable experience.

As of writing and less than a week before the first-ever PVL Rookie Draft rolls around, Petro Gazz hasn’t officially announced its import for the mid-season conference.

The PVL decided to shelve the import-laden offering after the 2022 season that saw Petro Gazz emerge victorious.

All eyes will be on the Angels as they continue their dominance in the returning conference, with Cruz in tow to make it happen.
